The Union County Care Train is built on a strong commitment of serving and giving. This organization raises funds which are distributed to those in need throughout Union County. Working in cooperation with the community action agency of Union County, the mission of the Care Train of Union County is to identify those who are facing economic difficulties and provide them with toys, food and other essentials to help bring a sense of joy during the holiday season. As part of the Care Train of Union County program, gifts of love for the less fortunate are collected from the community. In addition a live auction is held on the second Saturday of December. This annual event is the grand finale of this community effort to fulfill holiday dreams.
You can make a difference! Gifts of all shapes and sizes contribute to the success of the organization. The recruitment of volunteers and donations is an incredibly fine-tuned effort. There's a special determination each year to surpass the previous year's community contribution level. Bringing folks together, the Care Train of Union County creates a joint spirit of joyfulness, fulfillment and friendship.
